Do I need to charge my Solar-Breeze?
The Solar-Breeze runs completely off the power of the sun. In order to charge the unit, all you have to do is place it outside. No hoses or cords are required to run the cleaner.

But what if it’s cloudy outside? Will my Solar-Breeze still work?
Yes! The Solar-Breeze is equipped with storage batteries that charge during the day while the cleaner is running, so you can operate the device up to several hours once the sun goes down. When the battery is running low, the Solar-Breeze will automatically shut itself down. This usually happens at night after the cleaner has been in use for several hours. The unit will remain in a stand-by mode until it receives enough sunlight the next day to run again. Once it has enough energy to start, the Solar-Breeze will automatically start cleaning your pool again.

How does the Solar-Breeze reduce my energy bill?
Because the Solar-Breeze is powered by the sun, you don’t have to pay anything to run the cleaner. By cutting back on the time your pool pump is used, you not only save money, but reduce your carbon footprint which helps the environment too. In fact, the Solar-Breeze pays for itself by the end of the first swimming season by cutting down on maintenance and operating costs. .

What kind of things does the Solar-Breeze pick up?The Solar-Breeze can collect bugs, leaves, dirt, pollen, dust, and just about anything that enters a swimming pool. These various things float on the top of your pool for a few hours before sinking to the bottom. Before they get the chance to sink, the Solar-Breeze finds them and the front paddle scoops the debris into its collection tray.

What if my Solar-Breeze gets stuck against a wall, corner, or rock?
If the Solar-Breeze encounters a wall, it simply uses the bumper wheels on the front to propel itself in another direction. If that’s ineffective, the Solar-Breeze will put automatically put itself in reverse to back away from the obstacle, then it will put itself back in forward motion and continue to clean your pool.

So if I own a Solar-Breeze I can get rid of my floating chlorine dispenser, right?
Absolutely! The Solar-Breeze has its own chemical dispenser. With floating chlorine dispensers, it’s difficult to gauge whether chlorine is being dispensed evenly, but because the Solar-Breeze is constantly on the move, it distributes the chlorine evenly. This helps control the growth of algae and other unwanted bacterias. The Solar-Breeze can cary up to two 3″ chlorine tablets.

How does the Solar-Breeze save me time?
As long as you have the Solar-Breeze, your pool is always “swim ready.” The cleaner eliminates hand skimming completely. All you have to do is jump in!
